| 2.18.2007: Killing Fields to Shutdown |
Posted by Zero Tolerance's leader, Misfit, the Zero Tolerance Killing Fields will shutdown shortly. If you have some time pop into their server and make a few memories before the server goes down on the 22nd of this month.
I'm sorry to have to say this, but within the next few days our server will be shutting down.
It's been a wonderful 5 years and the Fields have been our home through the good and bad. We've had so many good times and made great memories there, but unfortunately it's time to let her go.
The funds just aren't there to keep the server up & I can't afford to pay the monthly fee. I'm really sorry, if my situation was different & I had the extra money I would definately keep it going. But with our new baby and me losing my job last year, things have changed. Our members tried to help out with donations for awhile but lately the server doesn't seem to be getting much use so it wouldn't be worth it for them to keep paying for empty slots.
I want to let you all know, just because the server is going down, nothing else is changing. Zero Tolerance is NOT closing or retiring. The clan will still be together and still be here, our site IS staying up and so is our MIRC channel. So, please continue to support our community and keep coming & posting & help keep the place alive. Someday, when funds are stable again, our server WILL come back up. As long as there's an interest in CS we will have a server again. If no one wants to play CS then, we'll come up with something else we can play together.
I believe the server will be going down on Thursday, Feb 22nd. Hopefully we can come up with a few times to meet up within the following days so we can play together for the last time & say our goodbyes to the server. Thanks for all your support, we hope you will stick around!

| Krazed Alloys Community, it pains me to say, but the time has come that the Army has called upon me to serve my country in Iraq. Thus, I will have limited access to internet. So I will be taking a leave of absence from this great community. I will try to keep in touch on the forums as often as I can. Good news is that I will definitly be back to West Nest as one of your managers sometime in the future. I wish the best of luck to you all and happy fragging.

| 9.30.2006: Krazed Alloys Constitution |
As most of you know, Krazed Alloys will be bringing back it's 1.6 server. A much long awaited time for most all of us. With the coming of the new server will come a "Constitution" that sets in stone the rules governing our community. The managers have been working on this since July to try to ensure we cover everything to make West Nest successful and fun. Most of these rules are the same that you are all aware of. However I encourage you read over everything so you make sure you won't break any new ones. You can find the new constitution posted in the News Alert Forum and also in the server information section of our main web page. It also provides the guidelines for becoming an admin and also a reference of different situations and the actions that will be taken in the event that it occurs. This will help reduce the amount of "drama" in our community.
We all look forward to getting the server running and fragging together. Thank you all very much for your continued support.

| 1.21.2006: Krazed Alloys Server Shutting Down |
Krazed Alloys will be shutting down West Nest effective February 4th, 2006. The decision is made on behalf of all of the managers and as of now we feel that it is in the best interest of the community to do so. This shut down is due to financial reasons and other contributing factors that shall remain undisclosed. We realize that this decision comes as a surprise to many individuals. This is certainly not the end of Krazed Alloys and to make things absolutely clear, this period of not having an official home was made after much consideration of a variety of issues. However, payments will continue for the website and forums and people are encouraged to still stick around and post leisurely. Future plans for the server are entirely undecided as of right now.
We have many things to decide on and we feel strongly that Krazed Alloys will not die and that any obstacles will be rectified and addressed.
We sincerely apologize to those who have played on West Nest and have made many friends on the server. We appreciated (and still do) your support and help in populating West Nest, whether you be a guest, regular, or admin. The website will remain up as will the forums. We feel that this move is a necessary step at this time.
If you have any questions, please feel free to PM a manager, but do not expect any manager to disclose information that should remain private.
Krazed Alloys is in fact not without a home. You will be able to play on an environment with similar rules as ours at the following IPs. We strongly recommend reading the rules of each server. If you do something to get banned from an affiliate’s home, it is not something within our control, and you must take it up independently with the affiliate involved. We take absolutely no responsibility for your actions and you inherently agree to the rules of the server when you connect to their homes.

| 10.10.2005: To Recent Admin Applicants |
We have had quite a few admin applications lately, and I want to write this here so that things are perfectly clear.
We look for mature and respectable admins, but lately, we also need activity, so if you are one short of any of these qualities, you can bet that you're probably not going to get admin. For members of an affiliate clan, this is no exception anymore either. If you are looking to apply for admin, you need to be active in both your clan AND our community. There are absolutely no hard feelings for affiliated members who put their clan before the community (that is, after all, the way it should be!). However we only give preferential treatment to applicants who have enough time to be active here as well. We appreciate your interest, but lately, the server has been somewhat unattended, and we're definitely considering active admins to add to our team.
Activity also means registering for the forum and posting, so if you haven't posted yet, please consider dropping by and introducing yourself. You can show your support by putting in a good word for us in the general CS forum, which we recently put an ad in for. Helping us in this way would not guarantee admin, but it certainly wouldn't hurt your chances!

| 9.23.2005: Good News |
The KA admins are happy to say that we have restructured the community to its old ways (as much as we could) and that we have some new (and old) managers to report on. None of them are new to the community.
EliteMortal (Matt) and Penn State (Eric) were our managers before, and they will continue to be our new managers, and we are happy to have them. They have both been very loyal to the community and have always enforced rules as far as I have known.
Joining them is a new manager, but certainly no stranger to the community. You would know him as Jimmy, but for the newcomers his name is Rikimaru. Please welcome Riki to the management team.
Well done to everyone! Admins are given more power than they were before, so that they can decide everything as we have done before on all major issues. What the managers here are for is to serve as leadership for the community, so if you have questions, please forward your request to one of those three people. Managers will be able to check the email for new admin apps and post news to the site. They are going to be informing the other admins of the latest events in the community because this is a community and only things that absolutely must be kept a secret should be kept anonymous. Managers no longer have a separate forum, they are kept within these main forums under a staff forum, so if you've got mediation requests or disputes to resolve, please send them to a manager for consideration.
Congrats to everyone and let's hope for the best ahead.
